Oudo Frass unveils Skyscraper

US-BASED recording artiste Oudo Frass says he has yielded the desired response for his track Savage.

The single forms part of the six-track EP — Skyscraper.

“The reaction has been very positive. People are welcoming the style and the sound. It is like a breath of fresh air, not to mention it is very relatable,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

The project was produced by Ruthless Ent and NTP and released at the end of April.

“The song [Savage] is really about me having trust issues. You have some people in your life that you think have your back, but they don’t; they are pretenders, and they are secretly praying for your downfall. Personally, I don’t want none of them around me,” he said.

The EP also features other songs such as Friend Real, an Afrobeats-inspired song that is getting frequent airplay in Nigeria.

“I am very pleased with the overall feedback that I have been receiving. It is a great feeling to be getting all these positive comments from everyone, so I just want to express my gratitude for that,” the entertainer said.

Doing music professionally for well over seven years, Oudo Frass, given name Jiovanni Scafe, describes his style of music as authentic dancehall and prides himself in delivering content that is uplifting, fun, and thoughtful. Known for hits such as Bim Bim, Squid Games, and Nuh Sober Mi Up featuring Supahype, he has been staying busy with a host of projects and appearances.

In the near future he plans on releasing the accompanying video for Savage.

“One of the reasons why I came down is to shoot the music video, ’cause my fans have been asking for it, so I have to deliver. I have a lot more in store, so just listen out for what is to come,” he said.
