In 2003 Turn Me On was a hit across the eastern Caribbean for Vincentian singer Kevin Lyttle. The song later picked up steam on urban radio in the US and, with some assistance from Atlantic Records, a remix of the song featuring dancehall artiste Spragga Benz became a global hit.

Now 20 years after it was hit, Turn Me On returns to the British pop chart, where a new version titled TMO (Turn Me On) credited to Luude and Bru-C featuring Kevin Lyttle, debuted last weekend at #88.

This dub electronic dance music (EDM) version recently peaked at #3 in New Zealand. It was released by Warner Records.

Luude (real name is Christian Benson) is an Australian EDM music producer, while Bru-C is a British rapper and MC from Long Eaton in England.

The remix version of Turn Me On peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the summer of 2004. It rose to #20 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart, while peaking at #2 in the UK, where it has been certified platinum for sales exceeding 600,000 units.

Turn Me On also rose to #1 in Denmark and made the top 10 in 16 other countries.

It has been certified gold in Switzerland, Norway, Germany, and Denmark. It was certified platinum in Australia.

A cover of Turn Me On, titled Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On), by American DJ trio Cheat Codes and Dutch DJ Dante Klein, peaked at #36 in the UK in 2016.

In 2017, R&B singer Chris Brown sampled the song on his hit single Questions.
