The management team of multi-award winning reggae-dancehall artiste Sean Paul is touting what it said has been a strong 2023 for the entertainer, and says the ‘Get Busy’ deejay has no plans to slow down anytime soon.

It follows the release of several major projects by the artiste since the start of the year.

“From his collaboration with Karol G on ‘Karmika’, which topped Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, to his recent release with Feid on ‘Niña Bonita’, which has amassed over 100 million streams, Sean Paul has been on a roll in 2023,” the entertainer’s management team stated in a release on the weekend. “Delivering hit after hit with some of the hottest names in Latin music, Sean Paul has proven once again why he is one of the most versatile and influential artists in the industry.”

In addition to a slew of singles with a number of international artistes, Sean Paul also released a collaboration with veteran reggae legend, Beres Hammond. The single Rebel Time was produced by Dutty Rock Productions along with Sly Dunbar and is a tribute to the roots and culture of reggae music, with a modern twist.

“Rebel Time showcases Sean Paul’s signature flow and Hammond’s soulful vocals, over a catchy and uplifting riddim,” the release read. The track it continued, is the “latest addition to Sean Paul’s impressive catalog of hits, which spans over two decades and includes classics like ‘Get Busy’, ‘Temperature’, ‘Baby Boy’ and ‘Cheap Thrills’.”

Sean Paul, who is set to perform at the Out of this World Festival in Cayman on Saturday as the headline act, has also been using his musical network to support new talents. Among the acts he has assisted in recent times are Farenizzi and Looga Man, who have released their singles ‘Hi N Lo’ and ‘Swagga Supreme’, respectively.
