Jamaica’s McKenzie cops silver at CAC Games

Ashley McKenzie gave Jamaica its first medal at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games when he captured the silver in men’s Judo competition here on Saturday.

McKenzie, competing in the -60 kg category lost to Ivan Salas of Venezuela 3-2 on penalties in a very exciting final.

This is McKenzie’s first medal for the county at the CAC Games championships.

Meanwhile, Jamaica’s lone female Judo competitor Ebony Drysdale-Daley is down to compete in the women’s -70 kg category on Sunday.
