Pepsi Cola Ja joins Reggae Sumfest to support local talent

Pepsi Cola Jamaica (PCJ) is the exclusive non-alcoholic beverage sponsor for the 30th anniversary of the renowned Reggae Sumfest.

This milestone celebration of Jamaican music and culture is slated to run from July 16-22 at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay, St James.

According to PCJ’s Brand Coordinator Yanique Dawkins, “Reggae Sumfest has been an integral part of the music landscape for three decades. This event holds a special place in our hearts as we pay homage to Jamaica’s love for music and culture. PCJ’s unwavering dedication to promoting the island’s rich heritage and vibrant music scene aligns perfectly with the festival’s mission, making this partnership a harmonious collaboration.”

PCJ has recommitted to the support of local talent and embracing the essence of Jamaica, which are the hallmarks of the music festival.

The brand has indicated that patrons attending the festival can expect an unforgettable experience a Sumfest 2023.

Its booth, specially designed to pay tribute to Jamaica’s rich musical heritage, will serve as the ultimate hub for music enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the festival’s electrifying ambiance with refreshing beverages and interactive activities.

PCJ’s portfolio at Sumfest will include Pepsi, Ting, D&G, Ginger Beer and Ocean Spray juices.

CEO of Reggae Sumfest Joseph Bogdanovich expressed gratitude for Pepsi Cola Jamaica’s continuous support, “Reggae Sumfest is grateful to have Pepsi on board as our partner again. They have been with us for most of our 30 years. Their role in supporting our Green initiative in a major way speaks to their buy-in to our vision and their commitment to making our planet safer. We are excited about the trade promotions being activated and, of course, to have their quality products available for our patrons.”

Reggae Sumfest begins on Sunday, July 16 with Family Funday Community Fest. Street Dance happens on Monday, July 17, while the All White party will take place on Tuesday, July 18.

Sumfest Blitz is on Wednesday, July 19 and the exciting Sumfest Heavyweight Clash will be held on Thursday, July 20.
