Supreme Ventures ‘Domino Masters’ reaches grand finale

THE national finals of the inaugural Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL)-sponsored Supreme Domino Masters series is to take place on Sunday at the Chinese Benevolent Association (CBA) on Old Hope Road in St Andrew, after an exhilarating journey through five community tournaments.

Many fans of the domino game are expected to attend the national finals wherein they will compete for the title of National Domino Champion and a $1-million reward.

The champions and competitors who placed in the top 16 throughout the community tournaments have already secured their places in the grand finale. The contest is still open to any Jamaican domino player who thinks they have what it takes to be named the greatest in the nation, but it costs $1,000 to participate. Registration opens at noon, and the finals commence at 2 pm.

Senior vice-president of retail and customer operations at SVL Dwayne Tulloch shared his excitement about the approaching finals and acknowledged the tournament’s phenomenal development.

“Taking the Supreme Domino Masters series throughout the island over the past few months has been a wonderful trip. We are really happy of how well-liked the event is and how the players’ camaraderie has grown. A spectacular showdown in the finals is assured by the domino fraternity’s zeal,” he remarked.
