Curfew imposed in sections of Spanish Town
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica— A 48-hours curfew has been imposed in sections of Spanish Town, St Catherine. The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 12, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm, Friday, July 14.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
North: Along an imaginary line approximately 850 metres from the old Harbour Road to St Johns Road;
East: Along St Johns Road about 200 Metres from North Boundary to intersection with Featherbed Lane;
South: Along Featherbed Lane about 850 metres from St Johns Road to intersection with Old Harbour Road;
West: Along Old Harbour Road 200 metres from Featherbed Lane to Northern to the Northern Boundary.
The police are advising people within the boundaries to remain within their premises during the hours of the curfew unless otherwise authorised in writing by the ground commander.
