Woman wanted for murder in US arrested in Montego Bay raid

A woman wanted on a warrant of extradition to the US for murder was held in a multi-agency raid at a home in Montego Bay, St James on Friday morning.

The suspect has been identified as 39-year-old Iyana Reynolds of a Tortuga Crescent address in Montego Bay. Reynolds is wanted in the US for murder and other related matters.

Information reaching OBSERVER ONLINE is that between 4am and 5:30am a special operation targeting Reynolds was carried out at her home by members of the Jamaica Fugitive Apprehension Team, Lotto Scam Task Force, Area One OST, and Jamaica Defence Force along with US counterparts as observers.

Reynolds, who was at home with her boyfriend at the time, was reportedly arrested incident free and placed in custody pending an extradition hearing.

A warrant for Iyana Reynolds’ arrest was issued in January 2022 after the death of her Jamaican-born boyfriend in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Andre Brown, 36, who lived in Bronx, New York before moving to Connecticut was found shot to death in a front yard on Marcel Street in Bridgeport.
