Happy Emancipation Day! A significant milestone that marks the end of slavery across the British Empire. And to commemorate our independence as a nation and reflect on the journey to liberation, Governor General Sir Patrick Allen and Lady Allen invited distinguished guests including members of the diplomatic corps, their spouses, Government officials, and business leaders to join them on the lawns of King’s House on Thursday, July 27, for the Governor General’s Independence Reception.
