Two-vehicle collision at Beechwood Avenue/Lyndhurst Road intersection, no injuries reported
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Beechwood Avenue and Lyndhurst Road shortly after 5am on Saturday.
There have been no reports of injuries.
This is the second motor vehicle crash in as many days in the area. On Thursday, a woman and a policeman were hospitalised for injuries they sustained in a two-vehicle collision.
Neither of the two had any visible signs of injuries but the constable appeared concussed while the female complained of pain after the Toyota Wish she was driving was hit by a police service vehicle and overturned in the vicinity of the RJR building.
Eyewitnesses reported that the female motorist was driving on Beechwood Avenue towards RJR with the traffic light on green when the driver of the police service vehicle, which was being driven on Lyndhust Road towards Retirement Road, travelled through the red light with flashing lights and collided with the Toyota Wish.
