Acclaimed British rapper Kojo Funds has joined forces with the Grammy-nominated Jamaican artiste Blvk H3ro on the burgeoning R&B/reggae artist’s single Annabella (Remix), resulting in a collaboration that is bound to leave a lasting impression.

This latest release added to the carefully curated series of singles that served as stepping stones towards Blvk H3ro’s much-awaited album On A Mission, which debuted August 18, 2023 on Delicious Vinyl Island.

The Caribbean music imprint of the iconic, LA-based, indie label Delicious Vinyl is known for facilitating the rise of some of Jamaica’s brightest new stars onto the global map with breakthrough releases.

The original version of Annabella, expertly produced by the Zimbabwean talent Soko7, widely acclaimed for his contributions to Beyoncé’s chart-topping sensation Drunk In Love, showcased Blvk H3ro’s collaboration with Jamaican vocalist Dre Island. However, this new remix featuring Kojo Funds possesses all the essential ingredients to ignite dance floors and get people grooving, from Jamaica all the way to London.

Annabella (Remix) stands as a guitar-driven anthem, skilfully weaving together the mesmerising rhythms of Afrobeat, dancehall, and pop, thereby flawlessly exemplifying Blvk H3ro’s distinct musical identity.

With Kojo Funds, whose infectious melodies and vibrant wordplay have already garnered considerable acclaim, the duo present a lyrical narrative that pays homage to the essence of femininity. Their collaborative effort not only empowers women to embrace their sensuality, but also serves as an animated invitation to unleash their innermost desires.

Kojo Funds’ contribution to this track provides DJs and music enthusiasts with a renewed momentum to revel in.

Jumping on the release after taking a break from music, Kojo Funds explains: “It’s with genuine excitement, this record is a vibe that unites cultures and marks my return after a 5-year hiatus.”
