Gas prices down $0.25, Diesel down $0.38
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an decrease at the pumps in the gasoline price effective Thursday, August 24, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
The latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam showed that 87-octane is down by $0.25 and will be sold for $183.95 per litre, while a litre of 90-octane will go down by $0.25 to sell for $188.45.
Automotive diesel oil is down by $0.38 per litre and will be sold for $179.65, and ultra low sulphur diesel will sell for $187.55 per litre following a decrease of $0.58.
However, Kerosene increased in price by $3.06 to sell for $187.40 per litre.
Additionally, Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $62.79, while butane will move down by $2.06 to sell for $70.72 per litre
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
