Old Harbour farmer charged following shooting incident

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – A 38-year-old man from St Catherine has been charged with shooting with intent, possession of prohibited weapon, and unauthorised possession of ammunition following a shooting incident in his community on Thursday, July 27.

Charged is Dian Bryce, a farmer of Davis district, Old Harbour.

Reports from Old Harbour police are that about 10:30 pm, a man was walking on a lane, when Bryce allegedly opened gunfire at him. He managed to escape unhurt and made a report to the police. Bryce was arrested and charged after a question and answer session in the presence of his attorney.

A court date for him is being finalised.
