Popeye Caution promises memorable Under The Influence concert
Recording artiste Popeye Caution is all set to deliver as one of the acts at Chris Brown’s Under The Influence concert at the National Stadium on Sunday.
“It’s a big look for me and and my career, and that’s definitely a good look overall to share such a big stage with legendary Chris Brown in Jamaica. It’s a big look for the culture,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
The other supporting acts will be Teejay, Ding Dong, Sean Kingston, Gramps Morgan, Byron Messia, and a few surprise guests.
The concert will culminate the BZR Weekend which will run from August 25-27. The other events include the invitation-only Haute Jamaica, Memba Dis! Ultimate Ol’ Skool Party, Rise and Toast Brunch and Party Indigo Soiree.
Said Popeye Caution: “I’m actually making my way to the Kingston to prepare for the show with my brother Ding Dong to give a high-energy performance. It’s going to memorable,” he said.
He further said he’s anticipating a favourable reception.
“I’m looking forward to the love from the people of Jamaica and the rest of the world,” Popeye Caution said.
It is expected that some 45,000 patrons will be in attendance.
