What are your expectations for the 4x400m relays?
Donald Smith, International athletics commentator
We have a great opportunity to add two more medals to our collection for the 4x4s. With Sean Bailey out injured, I expect Antonio Watson and Roshawn Clarke to join Rusheen McDonald and Zandrion Barnes in the final.
The women, with a world lead in the heats, could strike gold like they did in 2015, given that the USA who are responsible for Gold in seven of the last eight championships were disqualified for passing the baton outside of the takeover zone.
The coaches will have a big decision to make as to who starts, but I think the ladies from the heats should remain. If McLeod and Russell are brought in, then Shiann Salmon and Stacey-Ann Williams may miss out.
Trishana McGowan, Broadcast journalist
I’m expecting both teams to be on the podium, and I have both grabbing gold if there are no mishaps.
The heats saw good running from both quartets and that has sent confidence all around the team and fans.
I think the changes to come will also be very important and the set-up for the legs can make a difference in how we finish.

At the start of the championship I would have predicted 13 medals, we are now on 11 and I fully expect us to win two medals in the mile relays.
The women, for me, will be going in as solid gold-medal favourites, while the men will have to battle hard with the US for the gold medal, but as we have seen at these championships, the upset is on.
Andre Lowe, Sports content manager, Jamaica Observer
The Jamaicans have a chance to end the championship on a high with two additional medals, which would take our tally to 13, matching the best-ever return by the country’s athletes at the World Athletics Championships.
With the United States’ disqualification in the women’s event, Jamaica must surely be considered a strong favourite for the gold, while the men should figure prominently with the addition of world champion Antonio Watson.
