3-week-old baby dies in car crash in Trelawny
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — A three-week-old infant was killed in a two-vehicle collision on the Coopers main road in Trelawny on Sunday, September 10.
The child has been identified as Danella Morgan, of Patrick City, Kingston 20.
According to reports from the Rio Bueno Police, Danella was travelling with her parents in a blue Toyota Yaris motor car towards Montego Bay about 4:20 pm when the vehicle collided with a purple Nissan Juke motor car.
The police were summoned and Danella and her parents were taken to the hospital, where the infant was pronounced dead and her parents admitted in stable condition.
The two persons who were in the Nissan Juke motor car were also taken to the hospital and admitted in stable condition.
Investigations continue.
