Jamaican Tommi Gore, son of local motorsport icon Douglas Gore, will further his international ambitions this weekend, September 16 and 17, when he partakes in the Radical Cup UK, at Donnington Park, England.

Having made his first step into Radicals and the overseas racing scene with the Radical Caribbean Cup in Barbados. Gore said he was approached by Rob Weldon, head mechanic for the regional series, for the opportunity to compete at what will be the final round of the UK championship.

“I couldn’t turn it down,” said Gore.

In the Radical Caribbean Cup Gore has been racing a Radical SR3. This will continue at Donnington Park as he will be in the PRO SR3 class.

The race format will be three 30-minute track sessions across both days.

Gore admits to not having any experience racing in the UK, but the young Jamaican is aiming for a top-five finish while hoping to, at minimum, gain some significant experience and exposure from the opportunity.

“There will be live coverage on their YouTube channel @RadicalMotorsport as well as the event broadcasted on live TV on ITV4 / ITVX. Along with this, media coverage will be done by their Instagram and Facebook channels, as well our personal social media platforms,” added his father, Douglas.
