KINGSTON, Jamaica – A torrential downpour couldn’t put a damper on the show as the Jamaica Food and Drink Festival (JFDF) kicked off its celebration of Jamaican gastronomy at Water Lane in downtown Kingston on Wednesday night.
It was a great vibe at the launch, themed ‘An Ode to Jamaican Gastronomy’, as specially invited guests were given a preview of what to expect from this year’s ninth staging of the event.
JFDF 2023 will feature a number of pre-festival events at eateries across Kingston from October 3 to October 28, before four days of gastronomic excellence at the festival starting November 2.
