Island Child Style Hosts Sponsorship Mingle

Island Child Style, the Caribbean’s premier children’s runway event celebrating fashion and designers, hosted its sponsorship mingle at the AC Marriott Hotel’s Innovation Gallery on Tuesday evening.

The event served as a prelude to its highly anticipated fifth staging, scheduled for December 2, 2023, at the AC Marriott Hotel. The mingle was an eclectic mix of fashion enthusiasts, sponsors, and industry insiders who gathered to support and engage with the burgeoning talents and creative minds behind this showcase of youth and style.

With a rich history of promoting Caribbean fashion excellence, Island Child Style’s sponsorship mingle offered a sneak peek into the innovation that will grace the runway this year, promising an unforgettable experience for fashion enthusiasts of all ages.

Island Child Style co-conceptualiser Norma Williams said, “We insist on having an international-standard show; our runway is a mandatory 80-feet runway, meeting the bar [of] any international runway. These babies walk all the way and they face a cadre of photographers and even when their parents are cheering them on, they don’t even flinch. That level of confidence most of us would never even be able to match, and it makes all of us teary-eyed when we see it.”

Saturday Social shares more.

Serve 360 facilitator Junior Blackwood (left) and Serve 360 president Stephen Davis were also present at the event. Serve 360 is a charity foundation powered by the Marriott Group.
