Tuesday, October 3, 2023

The year 2022 was another succesful story for the manufacturing industry with a nine per cent contribution to the GDP and a 33.1 per cent increase in exports!

These remarkable results were among those celebrated on Saturday, September 30 as representatives from several companies and notable individuals in the field vied for 23 awards at the Jamaica Manufacturers & Exporters Association (JMEA) M&E Awards.

Held at the Jamaica Pegasus ballroom, the James bond-themed event, held in association with the VM Group, was the organisation’s way of celebrating the little wins, big milestones, and everything in between.

And they did it in style! From the 007-themed décor executed by Project 2 Project, to sharply dressed men and women in locally designed dresses that turned heads, the occasion had its fair share of Page 2 moments.

Here are just a few.
