Increase in some wagers on local and international races

Punters will have to pay more for select local bets as well as wagers on simulcast races from North America, the United Kingdom, and Ireland beginning Saturday, October 14, 2023.

A minimum win bet, place bet, and double event wager on local races as well as simulcast races from North America will now cost $100. This is a 100 per cent increase above the previous price of $50.

A minimum local trifecta bet on local races as well as simulcast races from North America will now cost $20. This boost is a 100 per cent increase for a $10 bet.

All other wagers on North American local and simulcast races remain unchanged.

In the meantime, winning and placing bets on simulcast events from the United Kingdom and Ireland have increased from $10 to $50.
