‘Puss’ charged with burglary, malicious destruction of property
MANCHESTER, Jamaica – A 28-eight-year-old man from Manchester was charged with burglary and malicious destruction of property after he allegedly broke into a woman’s house on June 9, 2022.
Charged is Jerome Bailey, otherwise called’ Puss’ of Pillar district, Prattville.
Reports from the police are that about 2:09 pm, a woman was awoken by a strange noise, made an alarm then saw Bailey pulling his hand out her window and running away. She peered through the window and saw him allegedly making his way back to the house and shouted to him causing him to run away a second time.
According to the police, checks revealed that he had used a knife to cut open the window mesh of a French window to gain access to the house.
The matter was reported to the police and an investigation led to Bailey’s arrest on Wednesday, October 26. He was charged after he was pointed out on an identification parade on Friday.
His court date is being finalised.
