Class of ’73 helping KTHS
KINGSTON Technical High School (KTHS) class of 1973 has stepped in to enhance the learning environment for current students in an effort to ensure that the more-than-100-year-old school continues producing responsible citizens.
In recent weeks the former students equipped each classrom with two wall fans, given the sweltering temperatures being experienced across the country.
The former students are now in the process of installing 55-inch televisions so that the students can be exposed to more world history, geography, politics as well as conferences to expand their general knowledge.
Additionally, they have provided paint to refresh the classrooms and have started a classroom adoption programme that requires members of the group to ensure that the classrooms are outfitted with the necesssary furnishing and equipment.
