Theo Goodness offers positivity, hope
Inspirational and positive messages are what comprise singer Theo Goodness’s début album Sixteen.
Released on November 5, Sixteen has 13 songs, among them Looking Through My Window, Rock, In the End, Soon and Very Soon featuring Hot Rod, Hide From Me, and Holding My Hands.
Most of the songs were produced by Theo Goodness and the project was released under his One Four Six label.
Among the musicians who worked on the project are Moses Kiffin (bass), Lucient Hamilton (keyboard), Lamar Cooper (drum), Ralston Simpson (lead guitar), and Andre Gillespie (saxophone).
According to Theo Goodness, his aim is to unite people through music.
“I am bringing consciousness, love, and togetherness back into the music. Music unites people,” he shared.
Five years ago, Theo Goodness stepped into the music game on a full-time basis. He is pleased with the response to his début body of work.
“It has been great so far. A few of the tracks have been getting airplay leading up to the official release of the album,” he shared.
Said Theo Goodness: “I want to gain more recognition while sharing positivity through good music.”
His passion for music developed as a youngster attending church. He later decided to pursue music professionally.
“I started out singing as a youth while attending the Simon Baptist Church in Simon District, Clarendon. Singing was a regular thing for me on Sundays and years later I joined the choir at Grace Baptist Church in May Pen,” recalled Theo Goodness.
“My musical journey had to be placed on hold as life experience took me in a different direction, but the desire for it has never left me. Now, I am fulfilling that burning desire,” he continued.
