Clarendon College blank Hydel 2-0 to reach Champions Cup final
Clarendon College are through to the final of the ISSA Wata Champions Cup after a 2-0 semifinal win over Hydel at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Tuesday.
Clarendon dominated possession in the first half and were rewarded through a 19th minute strike from talisman Keheim Dixon.
Hydel battled in the second half but were unable to find a response despite creating several chances
Dixon would make them pay as he sealed the win for Clarendon in the 86th minute to give Lenworth “Teacha” Hyde a chance to win the title for a second time.
The final is set for this Saturday at the National Stadium with Clarendon awaiting the winner of the second semi-final between Glenmuir and Kingston College.
