Grammy winner Kabaka Pyramid, dancehall veteran Bounty Killer, and Nation Boss have teamed up for the collaborative single My Level.

Produced by entertainer and producer Matthew “Esco” Thompson, My Level was released three weeks ago.

“Me, personally, love collaborations and unity. And, to be real about it, Bounty Killer and Nation Boss did some of their recording at my private studio. Kabaka Pyramid is a fellow former Campion High colleague and I have been a fan from the beginning. So, having the link to all three artistes, was simple maths,” said Esco.

He added: “The fans love collaborations, and we did this for the fans and the culture. The song has been well received with love and great reviews.”

Bounty Killer said when he was approached to do the collaboration, it was a no-brainer.

“Well, due to all of our schedules, you know a nuh like we got to par a lot. However, Nation Boss, and Kabaka Pyramid the Grammy kid are two really good artistes and dem militant like miself, so it was an easy flow,” said Bounty Killer.

He continued, “It was an instant yes to do this collaboration. Esco always a come up wid a bagga ideas, and you know me ever a look to encourage and strengthen the youths dem.”

Kabaka Pyramid shared the inspiration behind the song.

“My Level is about the confidence of knowing who you are and what you’re capable of, rising even higher than people’s expectation of you. It’s a song where we show off our lyrical prowess and have a little fun with it, while still being militant and unshakable,” said Kabaka Pyramid.
