Kraff’s management seeks to clarify circumstances for Galiday Bounce cancellation
The management team of dancehall artiste Kraff has sought to clarify the circumstances that led to him cancelling his scheduled performance for Galiday Bounce, the New Year’s Eve event that had been billed for the Amazura Concert Hall in New York.
Kraff was supposed to have headlined the event and his cancellation led to the show not being held, according to the promoters.
In a statement on Thursday, Kraff’s management said: “Despite extensive discussions and repeated good-faith opportunities to resolve outstanding issues, the required contractual conditions were not met, including confirmation of the agreed deposit and finalised travel arrangements.
“As a result, the performance could not proceed. This decision was not taken lightly and documentation supporting the timeline is on file,” the statement continued. “We sincerely thank the fans who were looking forward to the event and remain committed to working with promoters who meet the professional standards required to deliver successful shows.”
On Wednesday, event promoter Galdiez Mendez had criticised Kraff in a fiery social media post for allegedly not fulfilling contractual obligations and insisted that the deejay return payments allegedly made for the performance.

However, Kraff’s management team in an earlier statement had suggested that unresolved “outstanding issues” led him to cancel his appearance, adding that at no point was the performance contracted, discussed, or approved as a benefit concert.
