‘Bunny’ scores in 100th WSL appearance as points shared in Manchester derby
Manchester City star striker Khadija “Bunny” Shaw scored on her 100th Women’s Super League (WSL) appearance, but Manchester United struck late to seal a derby draw on Sunday.
The Jamaican, who is among the nominees for the 2026 Women’s Ballon d’Or, scored a thunderbolt from the penalty area to give City the lead in the 66th muinute.
However, the Blues were forced to settle for a draw after Elisabeth Terland fired home after reacting first to a long ball into the box in the 89th minute.
It snapped City’s perfect start to the season, however they would be pleased with a draw on the road against their cross-town rivals.
