UPDATE: One dead, 7 injured in Dunkirk gun attack
KINGSTON, Jamaica – One man was shot dead, and seven people, including a one-year-old baby, were injured during a gun attack at the Michael Manley Market on Pine Street in McIntyre Villa, also known as Dunkirk, in east Kingston on Tuesday afternoon.
The dead man, who up to press time was still unidentified, was reportedly in his 30s, slim built about 6ft long, brown complexion and was clad in a grey t-shirt and blue shorts.

A woman and a representative of the Harbour View football club were also among the injured.
Information reaching Observer Online is that around 12:50 pm, the eight were among people on the compound of the market when a black vehicle drove up and stopped at the gate.
It was reported that a group of men, armed with handguns and rifles, alighted and opened gunfire indiscriminately, hitting them at different areas of their bodies.
The injured were rushed to hospital, where the unidentified man was pronounced dead.
