Cavalier lose to Suriname’s SV Robinhood in Caribbean Cup final
Cavalier Football Club were defeated 2-0 by Suriname’s SV Robinhood in the second leg of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup at the National Stadium in Kingston on Wednesday.
Cavalier FC, who had lost the first leg 0-1 to their opponents, thereby lost the tie 0-3 on aggregate.
The victory assured that SV Robinhood advanced directly to the round of 16 of the Concacaf Champion Cup in 2024, while Cavalier FC will compete in a qualifying round.
Substitute Franklin Singodikromo, in the 88th minute, and captain Jamihio Rigters in the 90+4 minute scored both goals for SV Robinhood.
