Arnold Rambally Jr, Ruja Lahoe combine for first win in 2023
Trainer Arnold Rambally Jr and jockey Ruja Lahoe combined to win their first race for the season with four-year-old bay colt Who Doneit in a four-year-olds and upward maiden condition race over 6 furlongs (1,200m) on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
Who Doneit raced close to the leaders at the start of the race, tracking She’s Prado (Omar Walker), Esuse Me Goodby (Devon A Thomas), and Money Boy (Javaniel Patterson).
Who Doneit maintained his steady gallop, navigating the half-mile turn until approaching the distance when he made the bold move to challenge She’s Prado for the lead, with Last Dance (Daniel Thompson) making a run.
With three horses spread across the track at the top of the lane, Who Doneit, who emerged as the leader at the furlong-and-a-half (300m) pole, went on for the win by 7 ¼ lengths. Anika Belle (Andre Powell) finished in second place ahead of Last Dance in third place. The final time for the race was 1:18.4 (23.4 x 50.0).
