Gas prices up $2.60, diesel up $3.95
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, December 21, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $2.60 90-octane will be sold for $172.50 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $166.39.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $170.04 per litre after an increase of $3.95 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $177.43 per litre also up by $3.95.
Kerosene increased by $0.25 and will be sold for $176.78 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $71.44 per litre down by $0.80 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.60 per litre after a decrease of $1.61.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
