Sizzla set for Iland Vybz five-a-side finals, New Year’s Eve party

The town of Albion in St Thomas will come alive on New Year’s Eve with the staging of the Iland Vybz Food Court Five-a-side Football League finals and New Year’s Eve party.

Promoted by popular reggae singer Stevie Face, it is booked to take place on the grounds of his Advanced Service Station.

“Since I opened my gas station in Albion in 2014 the people in the community and surrounding areas have shown me tremendous support. Therefore, I am always happy to give back to the community. As an entertainer, I know that music and sports are two of the strongest elements that can be used to foster unity and development in any community. This is why I decided to keep this free event for the people in the area,” he said.

The Tell It Like Is singer has put together an entertainment package which includes headliners Sizzla, I-Octane, and Delly Ranx alongside Trapycal and Nastic.

“I want everyone to come out on New Year’s Eve Day and have a magnificent time. There will be lots of entertainment and excitement during the daytime with the finals of the five-a-side football league. In the night we will ring in the new year with our New Year’s Eve party, which will feature performances from some of Jamaica’s best reggae and dancehall artistes,” said Stevie Face.

The Iland Vybz five-a-side Football League was launched on October 7. The finals will see teams from the area vying for over $1,000,000 in prizes.
