Man feared dead following alleged electrocution in Manchester

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Police in north east Manchester are probing the circumstances surrounding the reported electrocution of a man in Christiana on Thursday.

Preliminary reports suggest that sometime before 6:00 am, the man got entangled in utility wires and was seen unresponsive.

The police were alerted and law enforcers said that in an abundance of caution, the fire department and Jamaica Public Service company have been called to the scene to retrieve the man’s body.
