‘Bunny’ Shaw extends goal count as Manchester City defeat Tottenham 2-0

Reggae Girl Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw netted her 13th goal of the season in the Women’s Super League (WSL) when Manchester City faced-off with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

City won the match 2-0 with Shaw scoring in the 51st minute, to extend City’s lead following an own goal from Tottenham defender Amy Turner in the first half.

Shaw has been the one to watch in the league as she is the leading goal scorer in the WSL this season.

This is on form for Shaw however, as she was voted Manchester City’s Player-of-the-Season after scoring 31 goals from 30 games in all competitions last season.
