Amber Connect enters China with mega event in Shenzhen
KINGSTON, Jamaica- In what has been dubbed as an “extraordinary development for the global telematics sector,” Amber Group has announced the launch of its A.I. fleet management software, Amber Connect, in China.
According to a news release on Friday, this strategic entry into the world’s largest vehicle market, in partnership with Jimi IoT, signifies a quantum leap for the Jamaica-based company.
Gao Xingxin, CEO of Jimi IoT, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership by indicating that his team is “delighted to deepen our alliance with Amber Connect, a leader in AI-driven telematics, security, and fleet management solutions.”
“After eight rewarding years of collaboration, we are poised to enter an exciting new chapter. This February 2024, we unveiling Jimi Fleet A.I, a landmark product born from our joint efforts, heralding a new era of innovation and cooperation,” he continued.
The news release states that, Jimi IoT, renowned as one of the world’s most prolific manufacturers of vehicle tracking hardware, brings the huge hardware experience and formidable network to this partnership. With over 55 million trackers installed globally and an ever-expanding base of six million new units each year, Jimi IoT’s reach spans more than 100 countries.
“This collaboration will leverage Amber Connect’s state-of-the-art telematics platforms, integrating them with Jimi IoT’s extensive global footprint though the Jimi Fleet A.I.,” the release said.
