Cops hunt suspect after construction worker shot in Manchester

MANCHESTER, Jamaica – Police have launched a search for a man following the shooting of a construction worker at Spring Ground district in Manchester Thursday morning.

The suspect reportedly fled after the incident and has not been seen since, the police said.

Information reaching Observer Online are that both men had a dispute on Thursday.

Reports are that around 7:45 am on Friday, the now-injured man was approached by the suspect. He was shot in the left thigh and taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said efforts to locate the suspect have proven futile but are ongoing.
