#InspireInclusionv – KRISTALLE CHIN

KRISTALLE CHIN, GENERAL MANAGER FOR DIGICEL+

Q: What strategies do you use to #InspireInclusion in your own sphere of influence? How are you investing in yourself and other women and girls to accelerate progress and empowerment?

A: As an advocate for women’s financial empowerment, I encourage all women in my personal and professional circles to invest in home ownership and financial instruments. I recognise the transformative impact that property ownership and investment in financial securities can have on one’s economic asset base, as it provides a solid foundation for future endeavours. Through my experiences, I consistently advocate for women to adopt strategic financial planning and smart investment decision-making for their long-term economic well-being and financial independence.

Using my influence and resource network to support women in achieving their diverse goals and interests takes me beyond financial empowerment: I am dedicated to nurturing the next generation of female leaders by investing my time and energy into mentoring and coaching women. As a seasoned professional, I apply my experience toward guiding high-potential team members who are destined for greatness, by fostering an environment where young women can thrive and excel. My mentorship goes beyond professional development. I lead by example with deep focus on productivity, enterprise, and generating stakeholder value. My aim is to motivate those I lead and serve, by showcasing the possibilities that arise when women are inspired and enabled to aim high and dream big.

To accelerate the progress of young women, I also emphasise the importance of advanced education and training. In my view, continuous learning is the key to sharpening and improving one’s skillset and resourcefulness. I am firmly of the view that with discipline, a commitment to personal excellence and resilience, women will continue to thrive and excel in non-traditional fields of work and endeavours.

Finally, I remind women about the importance of building and protecting your personal brand as the foundation of your core values.

It helps you to build credibility, trust and confidence.

Happy International Women’s Day!
