Luciano for Reggae Sumfest Night Two
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Staying true to its mandate of delivering top-notch performances from Jamaica’s very best entertainers, organisers of Reggae Sumfest have added veteran reggae singer Luciano to the show’s lineup.
Set to perform on Night Two, ‘The Messenger’ is expected to turn in a performance to solidify the musical ambassador he is.
With hits such as Sweep Over My Soul, It’s Me Again Jah, Lord Give Me Strength and many more, Luciano will no doubt deliver food for the soul when he graces the Catherine Hall stage in St James.
Set to perform on a night filled with stars, the singer will join the likes of Beres Hammond, Babyface, Nigy Boy and Ras-I.
Luciano closed Reggae Sumfest Night Two back in 2016, the inaugural year the festival relied solely on homegrown talent.
At the time, Luciano, a supporter of authenticity, praised Downsound Entertainment’s Chief Executive Officer, Josef Bogdanovich for opting to showcase and support local talent on what is arguably one of the biggest global reggae platforms.
