PM Holness, US Secretary of State arrive at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel for Caricom high level meeting
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Prime Minister Andrew Holness and United States (US) Secretary of State Antony Blinken have now arrived at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston where a Caribbean Community (Caricom) high level meeting on Haiti is officially scheduled to get underway in a short while.
Caricom heads of government have been in talks in Kingston from early this morning as they try to decide on measures to address the crisis in Haiti where gangsters have taken control of large sections of the capital.

The Caricom leaders, along with invited guests from the US, France, the United Kingdom, the European Union and other partners are expected to have long discussions on the Haitian crisis.
Decisions out of the discussions are scheduled to be shared with the media about 6:00 pm at a briefing to be hosted by the heads of government.
A release on Saturday from the Office of the Prime Minister confirmed the meeting, adding that it will be held under the current Chair of Conference President Irfaan Ali of Guyana.
