Hezron praises the Natural Woman
Recording artiste Hezron pays tribute to women this Women’s History Month with the track Natural Woman.
Produced by Tad’s Record, the track was fittingly released on International Women’s Day, March 8.
“This song is a reaffirmation of the special characteristics and the mystical powers of women; without them, humanity wouldn’t exist… and being the kind of artiste that I am I was compelled to use my voice to defend femininity,” Hezron told the Jamaica Observer.
Since its release Hezron says that it has resonated with music lovers because of its theme.
“Natural Woman makes people happy,” the singer said. “It offers a reassertion of the extraordinary value of our women. We have to make sure that we don’t stray from that and it’s important that reggae expresses this message.”
Following the release of his highly successful 2022 album M.O.A.M (Man On a Mission), Hezron has been promoting his music and seeing success around the world, most notably in Ghana where he recently visited for three months.
The album debuted at #5 on the iTunes Reggae chart, topped Richie B’s Jamaica Music Countdown and the South Florida Reggae album charts, and earned a Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) nomination as Best Reggae Album.
With tracks such as Save The Children, Man On A Mission and Made For The Battle, featuring Turbulence, the singer is preparing for another tour of the UK, Canada, Africa, and other countries.
