Stolen phones belonging to Chinese businessman found during community walk-through
ANNOTTO BAY, ST Mary — A walk-through of the community of Annotto Bay in St Mary on April 27, led to the recovery of the stolen phones belonging to the Chinese businessman who was robbed earlier in the week.
On Tuesday, 35-year-old Jinlong Liao, a proprietor of JinLong Supermarket was held up and robbed of $100,000 cash, jewellery valued at US$3500, cellular phones valued at $300,000 and a licensed firearm with ammunition.
The matter was reported to the police, whose quick response subsequently led to the recovery of several of the stolen items.

The phones were recovered on Saturday near the premises where the robbery took place.
According to the police, officers were on an intervention walk as a result of the recent robbery and murder which took place within the communities of Annotto Bay and Enfield when they came across the three stolen iPhones in bushes.
No arrests were made.
The operation was being conducted by the St Mary Criminal Investigations Bureau, Cisco and the Annotto Bay Division.
