Gordon’s mom steals the show
IT was billed as a celebration of Audley Gordon’s 60th birthday. But the man of the moment, who heads the National Solid Waste Management Authority, found himself playing second fiddle to his 87-year-old mother Linda Smikle who stole the show at Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston.
Politicians, pastors and people from all walks of life gravitated to the table where Smikle held court sharing humorous stories of her struggles to mould young Audley into the man he is today.
Here are some of the highlights.
