Smith’s RUM CREAM
Product Name: Smith’s Rum Cream
Product Description: Smith’s Rum Cream is a premium Jamaican beverage that masterfully combines the richness of Jamaican rum with lactose-free cream. Created by CEO Donald Smith, this beverage is available in four delightful flavours: Vanilla, Coffee, Original, and Butterscotch. Smith’s Rum Cream currently offers two distinct variants: The Citizen (17% alc/vol) and The Outlaw (21% alc/vol). The forthcoming Monarch variant, set to surpass the quality of both current variants, will provide an elegant drinking experience that embodies the spirit of freedom and adventure.
Inspiration Behind the Product:
The creation of Smith’s Rum Cream is deeply rooted in personal history and familial tradition. Donald Smith drew inspiration from his mother’s meticulous preparation of the family’s signature “strong back drink” for his father. This drink’s rich, velvety texture and the love poured into each batch left a lasting impression on him. Motivated to refine this cherished tradition, Smith embarked on a journey to create his own version, with his father’s discerning palate offering invaluable feedback.
Using his academic background in biochemistry, Smith addressed lactose intolerance issues, developing a lactose-free version of the Original flavour. The “Original” name pays homage to its status as the first flavour created. University friends and bar patrons played a crucial role in the product’s evolution, with their feedback inspiring the creation of the stronger “Outlaw” variant to satisfy the demand for a more robust alcoholic kick.
