Digicel continues to fuel Olympics excitement with smart TV promotion
Donna Ellis was ecstatic on learning that she was among the lucky winners of a 50-inch smart TV in Digicel’s 2024 Olympics promotion.
“I am truly overjoyed; I feel so blessed. I’ve been working hard to upgrade my son’s TV. When I heard that I won, my first thought was to call him; he is a big fan of the Olympics, so I know he will be happy,” Ellis shared as she collected the prize during Digicel’s ‘Run Fi Yuh TV’ road tour in Half-Way-Tree recently.
Digicel said that so far it has presented more than 55 of 128 TVs it will give away in the promotion which is rewarding lucky customers with a TV every week until June 20.
Customers get a chance to win by buying a Prime Brawta Plan, a SIM, switching to Digicel, receiving a Stay Connected plan from overseas, or being an active postpaid customer, the company explained in a news release.
The road shows have been held in Ocho Rios and at Racers Grand Prix last Saturday at the National Stadium where Al-Jermaine Osbourne walked away with his 50-inch LG smart TV after purchasing two Samsung Galaxy A15 smartphones.
“At Digicel, we believe in creating memorable experiences and giving back to our customers,” the release quoted the company’s Chief Marketing Officer Tari Lovell. “We look forward to celebrating the Olympic season with our valued customers, and we can’t wait to support Team Jamaica and our Digicel ambassadors as they go for greatness in Paris.”
Lovell said there are still opportunities for customers to enter and win, “so we’re encouraging every prepaid and postpaid customer to join in by June 20”.
