I am writing to commend Inspector Romaine Brooks and the members of the Spalding police for their swift and decisive action in responding to the incident of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct that occurred in Spalding, Clarendon, on Monday, June 3, 2024.

The rapid response of the police in identifying, apprehending, and charging the individuals involved in this reprehensible act is highly commendable and reflects their dedication to maintaining public order and decency.

The footage of the incident, which unfortunately went viral on social media, has undoubtedly shocked and disturbed many in our community. It is reassuring to know that our police force is vigilant and proactive in addressing such issues promptly. Their actions not only uphold the law but also send a clear message that public indecency and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated in our community and indeed in our society.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire team for their diligence and professionalism in handling this matter. The arrest and subsequent charging of the individuals involved demonstrate a commitment to justice and the well-being of our community. Additionally, the fact that the exotic dancer was also charged for providing false information to the police underscores the thoroughness of the investigation.

It is through such dedicated efforts that we can continue to foster a safe and respectful environment for all citizens. I hope that this incident serves as a deterrent to others who might consider engaging in similar behaviour.

Once again, I applaud Inspector Brooks and the Spalding police for their exemplary service.
