Ocho Rios Bay Beach, Green Grotto Caves among many attractions and offices reopened — UDC
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) says the Ocho Rios Bay Beach and Green Grotto Caves and Attractions in St Ann as well as its Montego Bay office in St James and the Jamaica Conference Centre in Kingston reopened on Monday, July 8, 2024.
The facilities were closed following the passage of Hurricane Beryl on July 3.
The UDC said it also reopened the Ocho Rios Commercial Centre in the town square and will resume operations at the St Ann Development Company on Tuesday.
The corporation said work continues on the reopening of the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls and Turtle River Park.
Meanwhile, it said normalcy will return in short order to Runaway Bay Water Company office in St Ann, Reach Falls in Portland, Harmony Beach Park in St James, its Negril office, Bluefields Beach Park and Long Bay Beach Park in Westmoreland.
