Lady Da Flame taps into EDM

Recording artiste Lady Da Flame has tapped into the EDM market with the single Push.

Officially released on July 12, it was produced by Rawborn Productions.

“I believe that EDM music is invigorating and a natural pairing for the uplifting lyrics of Push. Further, I am committed to making relatable music with positive messages of perseverance and strength, no matter the style of music,” the singer told the Jamaica Observer.

One aspect that pushed Lady Da Flame’s EDM journey is the genre’s reggae roots.

“You can’t go around the fact that EDM spawns from reggae, which draws me to it even more. Reggae groomed me into always putting forth reality music. It’s always been that special place where I can feel free to sing about how I really feel with real issues that are going on,” she explained.

Describing the song as “electrifying, motivational, inspiring, endurance, and strength,” Push is one of Lady Da Flame’s most personal releases to date.

The singer remembers many times she had to push herself to get through an issue or a situation, giving herself a small pep talk, and decided to put those thoughts and feelings into a song. While Push raises the bar for the multi-talented artiste, there are great expectations for the record as the song is already spreading like wildfire amongst top disc jockeys and radio personalities.

“When listeners hear Push I want them to feel encouraged and motivated. I want them to endure, keep going, and complete their goals in life no matter how small or large they are,” the singer continued.

With Lady Da Flame’s phenomenal gospel song God Answers Prayers recently hitting the 10 million streams mark, it’s an indicator of infinite possibilities for her and this new track.

Fans can expect upcoming performances in Queens, Bronx and Long Island, New York, as well as Washington, DC.

In addition, an official music video for Push is in the works.
