‘HE IS FINE’
Butler confirms ‘Whisper’ Richards recovering from surgery
Craig Butler, agent for the Jamaica and Chelsea Football Club teenage winger Dujuan “Whisper” Richards, has confirmed that the player is recovering from surgery which was done recently in England.
“He is fine and he is recovering from his surgery, and it won’t be long until he is back on the pitch,” said Butler when the Jamaica Observer contacted him.
However, Butler declined to give details on the nature of the medical procedure.
The Observer understands that Richards underwent surgery to repair damage to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). He is expected to be out of action for between three to six months.
Richards, who turns 19 in November, made the move to Chelsea in 2023.

During the 2022 schoolboy football season Richards delivered a remarkable 31 goals and 19 assists for Kingston College, solidifying his status as a rising star in local football.
