JLP’s Matthew Samuda nominated in St Ann NE
ST ANN, Jamaica —The Jamaica Labour Party’s (JLP) Matthew Samuda has been nominated for the St Ann North Eastern by-election.
Samuda was nominated some time after 1:00 pm on Wednesday.
He was dressed in a JLP branded shirt and supported by a full team which included party leader Andrew Holness, Juliet Holness and Robert Montague as well as other party supporters.

The by-election is set to take place on September 30.
The People’s National Party last week said it would not be contesting the by-election.
